    The guys at Square have a barista working in their office

    • The barista is quite a nice touch, but also a great way to integrate a “customer” into the working environment. Keeping their barista as part of the team, consulting her with projects and having her play the role of customer, makes for a company that can operate in-house while still having an outside perspective. This is in-line with customer centricity because Square can now tailor to the customer needs, directly knowing what is clearly conveyed and effective in the software through the field testing of their barista. Innovative, efficient, and a great way to get employees involved with the project. As the saying goes, “great minds think alike,” but sometimes it is the additional perspective that makes a great idea genius!
