I agree with both of you, Michael and Svetlana. I think it only brings more attention to the opportunities that they missed by sending a birthday wish so late in the game. I would have like to see a message come for the upper management that said…. Wow! We notice we had not acknowledged your birthday in the past; however, we are trying to…[Read more]

No , of course not! All thngs being “well rounded” is the best option. However, I can tell you from a customer stand point I will never go back to a place where I have experienced bad customer service! If I have had an experience with someone and there was a lack or knowledge, depending on the service offered, I may or may not come back. Take a…[Read more]

When dealing with banks and its employees I find it disappointing that they only have the ability to achieve a “pay for service” transaction. I pay them for a service; they in- turn, give me the transaction or service I have requested and paid for. Unfortunately, nothing more is offered. Why is that? How interesting it would be to have them…[Read more]

You are so right Marie 🙂 I 100% agree with you about teaching finance to the children, very useful for their future and the future of whole country 😉 Besides there are a lots of websites and apps for that matter that can be used at school or home. I know some good website that is pretty well for different age range children…[Read more]

I was actually taught at school basic financial processes, how to write a cheque, how a credit card functioned etc. the number of people i come across now – degree educated – who dont even have basic financial capabilities i think is frightening.

A few months ago, I was involved in a 4 car accident in my brand new VW CC that I had purchased a few months prior. It was my dream car that I loved and was completely happy with the process of my purchase. I was hit by two cars, one from behind in the rear trunk and one and in the driver’s side door. Luckily, I was not too injured and I had i…[Read more]

      Das Auto! ?

    • You’d think that the dealership would just make it happen so that they could keep you as a repeat customer. Sometimes people can be a little stupid when it comes to making the customer happy. My questions is this, if it would be charged to the insurance anyways, why wouldn’t they go ahead and reopen the claim and file it? VW dealership would have…[Read more]

      • I don’t think it was about saving the company money at that point. I feel like the company was looking for the easiest way to recoup the cost of repairs. With filing the insurance claim, I believe the dealership would have to eat the costs and then wait for the claim to be verified and approved before the dealership would receive funds for the…[Read more]

Bravo Ian and Tania! I agree with you both on these points. I believe perceiving someone as being genuine is of the utmost importance in forming and maintaining any long-lasting business relationship. I have come across many business professionals who offer the “fake smile” when you are being greeted or assisted by them. I have learned over my…[Read more]
